Planetary Defence

Our optical space situational awareness capability supports planetary defence through the observation and tracking of objects originating in space – from meteorites to space debris.

Supporting this is our ‘smart detection’ automated drone technology which can detect anomalous objects on the ground through applied machine learning techniques. Developed to to detect and recover meteorites on the ground, this technology has the capability to be applied to recover space debris and unexploded ordnances in civilian areas.
