To stand out from the crowd with a targeted resume and LinkedIn profile it is important to know how to communicate your skills across platforms to different audiences. In this two-hour interactive workshop you will join other ICRAR students and learn how you can optimise your resume and LinkedIn to communicate your transferable skills to different audiences.

Hosted by ICRAR and facilitated by Curtin’s Careers team, in this workshop you will:

  • Complete a career health check
  • Understand and identify your relevant key skills, knowledge and experience
  • Learn how to tailor your resume to specific opportunities within industry, the not-for-profit sector or academia
  • Format your resume to optimise readability and impact
  • Understand how LinkedIn works
  • Discuss how employers and recruiters use LinkedIn
  • Identify strategies to optimise your profile, build credibility and develop meaningful networks
